I really want to farm. Run a CSA, have a big ol’ Kubota, have to worry frantically and obsessively about the weather, risk my livelihood on my crops. Tiny Farm Blog has a set up very close to how I want to do it. Financing is the problem, specifically credit. So I got a little glint of hope when I found out some people can get help with it through the USDA Rural Development. I doubt I have a snowball’s chance, but it’s something to wish for someday.
