Here's a fantastic planting calendar - http://bioarray.us/Skippy%27s%20planting%20calendar.html I'll probably start transplanting and direct sowing at the end of March, we're waiting for the soil to dry enough to til right now! ...I'm way to impatient to wait and direct sow everything!

New to your blog, but also a gardener in Willamette valley. Live near Newberg... Anyway, I was wondering when you are planning on putting your seedlings out? The next dry day? I've always direct sown my seeds (call me lazy) except peppers and sometimes tomatoes. So, I'm wondering how it goes for you... Looking forward to watching your progress!

The past few days have been so nice, up to 65 yesterday, but the rain came today. I'm considering a cold frame type set up if they're ready before the weather is!

They're sprouting like crazy! Same here. I've got beets, peas, lettuce, spinach and sunflowers in a too fast hurry. Now I'm worried where to put them if nighttime temps don't increase.
