For the past few months, the exchange rate between the Canadian and US dollar has been dismal – at least for Canadians wanting to purchase things from the US. Right now, it’s 91 cents on the dollar, which means that if I order $50 in supplies from the US, it’ll cost me $54.91. But for those of you in the US, you can order from Canadian merchants and save; a $50 order will cost you $45.53. Very rarely is the Canadian dollar stronger, but since it does change daily, you can check before you shop by going to google.com and searching: us canada exchange rate – google has a up-to-date converter right on the search page, so it’s quick and painless to figure out.
